Carters Maple Syrup

The Carter Family has been making Maple Syrup on our farm in Severn township (just outside of Orillia) since 1905. Eric is the 3rd generation continuing in this tradition with help from his daughters and grand-daughter (who is mainly interested in taste testing). You will find Eric at the Barrie Farmers Market every Saturday morning. Our family has also attended the Elmvale Maple Syrup Festival faithfully every Spring, along with the Bala Cranberry Festival in the Fall, and we also participate in Maple Weekend in April (special events/festivals have been post-poned for 2021 due to covid).
